The City Development Authority Prague (URM)
The City Development Authority Prague (URM) is a contributory organization
established by the City of Prague.
In
accordance with its deed of foundation, the organization conducts the following
activities:
- Preparation and processing of strategic, town-planning and territorial development documents for the City of Prague.
- Preparation and processing of the Strategic Plan of the City of Prague, its updating, and monitoring of fulfilment of the strategic concept of the city.
- Preparation and processing of the Development Plan of the City of Prague and the Principles of Territorial Development of the City of Prague.
- Preparation and processing of the Territorial Analysis Reference Materials of the City of Prague
- Administration and updating of the city-wide information system on the territory.
- Administration and procurement of a collection of geographical data on the territory of the City of Prague, in particular the Digital Map of Prague
- Provision of expert consultation in the area of city development and territorial and strategic planning.
- Support for cooperation between the public and private sectors in the area of fulfilling the city's conceptual projects.
- Coordination of conceptual projects in the region.
- Representation of the City of Prague in territorial proceedings.
- Presentation and promotion of the results of activities on a city, national and international scale.
- Ensuring the professional participation of Prague in projects and activities of EU structures and professional presentation of the strategic concept of Prague in international, national and regional conferences and seminars.
